The Niel House isn’t just a holiday home—it’s the result of several years of passion, planning, and a slightly obsessive love for all things design. Created by Nupur and Karn, the villa may have been built by someone else’s hands, but every inch of it has their hearts woven into it. The furniture? Custom-made in Bombay, because nothing off-the-shelf would do. The art and artifacts? Sourced from all over India and beyond — each piece with its own story to tell.

Construction began in January 2021, and by August 2023, the house was ready to welcome its first guests. But, as Nupur and Karn will tell you, “ready” is always a work in progress. They’re constantly tinkering and updating, forever on a mission to make the space even more beautiful than it already is. Because, for them, design isn’t just about looks — it’s about making sure you feel at home the moment you walk through the door.
